- Have opened an account or insured space online on the website of my health insurance organization.
- Have a smartphone compatible with iOS version 12 minimum.AND I GIVE MYSELF: - my social security number, - my valid identity document.
To date, only the following documents are accepted: - a French identity card; - a French passport; - a residence permit issued by France.
ONCE ACTIVATED, I USE MY CARTE VITALE APP WITH HEALTH PROFESSIONALS: It allows me to: - identify myself, as with my Vitale card at my pharmacist, my doctor, my dentist, my medical assistant, my optician, etc.
- view my healthcare expenses made with my Vitale card app, - to access my information and that of my beneficiaries: Social Security number, mandatory organization, but also other information such as National Health Identity, etc.The equipment of health professionals is being done gradually.It is therefore advisable to always keep your Vitale card with you.
A display is present in healthcare professionals equipped to read the Vitale card app.SECURITY AND RESPECT FOR YOUR DATA - The Vitale card app is developed to guarantee the integrity, availability and confidentiality of data.
The processing complies with the GDPR.
- Identification data is stored only in the smartphone.
It is possible to delete them at any time.
- The Vitale card app is accessible with double security: a 6-digit personal secret code which is added to the smartphone lock code.
- Data is transmitted according to identification needs and following entry of the code: presentation of the Vitale card app to the healthcare professional or during a remote connection.The Vitale card application is developed by the GIE SESAM-Vitale, which is commissioned by health insurance at the request of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health.More information on www.applicartevitale.fr
